I have a 94 Milano Red Gs-R. I have type R seats (front and rear, center console, door panels, floormats, etc.). I also have a cheap $20 wannabe type R knob.

Don't hate me for asking this kind of question, but, I want my car to look its best =)

I'm leaning towards the Autometer triple a-pillar pod, with Autometer Ultra-Lite gauges (silver face, silver bezel).

Pod-wise, it was either the triple a-pilar, or the dual dash-bezel, but the latter only holds 2 gauges and i'll need 3 very quickly.

Gauge-wise, I've been debating over the Ultra-lites, or the Phantoms. (phantoms are white-faced, with black bezels).

any input?

Choose your A/F gauge first. Then get everything else in that style. (I wish I had!)

A/F gauges don't come in as many face/bezel color combinations as the other gauges.

I'd go all Phantom.

I've checked, and all the gauges I need are available in both color schemes... Ultra-Lite and Phantom

What color are your dash gauges? Mine are white and Indiglo blue at night. I have Ultralite A/F and boost gauges and I thought the "aluminum" finish would match the white gauge faces but it doesn't. I'd like to switch them out for Phantoms ideally so they match my white faced gauges but it's no biggie.

I'd go Phantom.

I was thinking the ultra-lites would match the shift knob, and kinda spice up the interior, like a lot of the new cars are going... with the metal trim, etc.

Plus they're cheaper than the phantoms. I had the phantoms in my old talon.

hmmm.... Do you know if the sun glares off those gauges? referring to the ultra-lites... if the sun would glare off those, i'd definately avoid them then, but i doubt thats a real problem.

I don't get any glare off of the aluminum faces. The A/f lights wash out in the sun but that's pretty unavoidable.

i've decided to get the a-pillar with the ultra-lites

.... unless of course, Summit Racing doesn't have this crap in stock, and i have to make a split-second decision
